Boxfest have chosen to raise awareness for Andy’s man club with this event, we chose them as we believe in their cause 100% and members of the Boxfest committee have seen the benefits of the charity first hand.
The Charity
Andy’s man club are set up and set out to reduce the amount of suicides in males between the ages of 18-45 years old, they do this by putting on groups in local areas with a view to encourage men to open up to and support each other in a bid to break the stigma of males talking about how they feel and offering them a platform to get things of their chest. GCGF Events has supported Andy’s Man Club now for over 3 years by raising funds and awareness.
Boxfest has partnered with national charity Andy’s Man Club who help young males fight depression and the effects of depression. As mental health is a subject close to everybody’s heart here at Boxfest, 50% of all profits are donated directly to the charity.
